Creator Media Kit Template
A media kit is a sales document, not a portfolio. The person reading it is deciding one thing: whether your audience is the audience they are trying to reach. Everything that does not help them answer that is costing you their attention.
Which is why the order below is not negotiable. Audience demographics come before your biography. A marketer scanning ten kits gives each one seconds, and the fastest disqualifier is audience mismatch — wrong country, wrong age, wrong buying power. Put it where it can be found without scrolling, and put your one-liner above it so they know what kind of creator they are looking at while they read the numbers.
Performance metrics come before case studies, because a case study without baseline numbers is a story, and a story cannot be compared against the other nine kits on the desk. Give 30-day averages with the outliers trimmed. A viral post that tripled your average is not what the brand is buying, and quoting from it means missing the delivery.
Case studies come before rates, because a number lands differently after evidence than before it. One paragraph each: the brand, the brief, what you made, what happened. Real figures if you have permission, honest ranges if you do not.
End with a next step. Surprisingly many kits end with the rate card and leave the marketer to work out what happens now — so nothing does.

The same template with every placeholder replaced, so the shape is obvious before you do the work. The brand and the creator are invented; the structure is not.

Frequently asked questions
- Should the media kit include my rates?
- Include a "from" figure per format and keep the detailed rate card separate. A "from" number filters out briefs that were never going to work without anchoring you to a price before you know what the brand is asking for — and usage rights, exclusivity and production are what actually move a quote, none of which the kit can know in advance.
- What if my case studies have no numbers I am allowed to share?
- Say what you made and describe the outcome honestly without the figure — "sold out within two weeks, brand-reported" is credible and gives away nothing. An unsourced number you cannot back up is worse than no number: it is the one thing in the kit a marketer can check with the brand.
- How long should it be?
- One to two pages. The reader is scanning, not studying, and the fastest way to lose them is to make them hunt for the audience numbers. If a section is not helping them decide whether your audience is their audience, it belongs in a case study or nowhere.
- Static PDF or a live page?
- Both, if you can. A PDF is what gets forwarded internally and attached to an email thread; a live page is what stays current without you reissuing it. If you only maintain one, make it the live page and export a PDF when someone asks — a stale PDF circulating with six-month-old numbers underprices you every time it is opened.
